Let loose and be a kid again in one of Japan’s biggest snowmobile areas. Snowmobiling in Hokkaido typically takes place on frozen lakes and other flat areas with a clear view ahead, but this grown-up playground around 25 minutes by car from the Sapporo city center is all about mountain adventures. There are various plans with different levels, and it’s no surprise that the ones with the biggest thrills and spills have the most fans. There’s also an area for snow banana boating and snow rafting, and special tours where you can enjoy a barbecue in a snow hut.
